How can we book you for a show? |
If you are interested in booking Citizens On Patrol for a show, please email their manager, Mark Bowden, at mark at copband dot com with the subject line COP GIG.
Do you have any plans to record a full-length album? |
Worlds would have to align for this to happen. Although COP has traditionally been a high-octane cover band, they have recently ventured into performing original tunes. Will Butler has penned five songs but he is busy touring with The Arcade Fire, so the chances of COP getting together to record is low.

Do you always wear costumes? |
No, they are uniforms, and yes, they wear them all of the time.
Has your band ever gotten any media attention? |
Yes, they certainly have. Will Butler was interviewed for the Chicago Reader and COP was mentioned. Read it here: A Poetry Major With Prospects
. Niteskool Productions made this page for a gig the band did. Adele Nicholas was gracious enough to create this webpage: Rocking Northwestern which featured Sandpiper Air. The band has also been mentioned several times in the Daily Northwestern. You can see one such article here: Party Like A Rockstar. Recently the band was interviewed for an article in the Daily which gives a good background on how the band was formed. Read it here: Niteskool of rock. The band has even had a live show get streamed across the internet to millions of viewers!

What is it like having Will in the band? |
The band knew Will long before Arcade Fire so to them he is just Will the friend, not Will the rockstar. They find it humorous to see girls swooning over him. Of course, the band wishes him the absolute best with his career.
Can you get me tickets to an Arcade Fire show? |
This question is asked more than any other. The band would like to help out, but unfortunately they simply do not have that kind of connection. If they were to answer every request for tickets, there would be none left for the ticket-buying fans.

What has been the most amazing aspect of being a part of COP? |
Overall it is that nobody expected it to go as far as it has gone. What started out as just a fun little project turned into a band that has gone beyond all expectations. What the future holds nobody knows.
